Somerset County Mobile Food Bank

 

We are excited to announce that we've partnered with the Somerset County Mobile Foodbank for this year's race! A portion of your race fee (and all donations) will go directly towards helping this incredible organization provide meals for those in need.

 

You can make a donation to the SCMFB when you register online, or at race-day registration.

 

• Somerset County Mobile Food Bank is a free food distribution intended to bring a monthly supply of fresh produce and other items to those in Somerset County who lack, or have limited, transportation. Our focus is on fresh produce and other whole ingredients, but many other items are distributed based on availability.

 

• One of the goals of the Somerset County Mobile Food Bank is to provide food to families that, due to limited income or lack of transportation, are unable to receive food assistance elsewhere.

 

• The Somerset County Mobile Food Bank serves families and individuals in the communities of  Boswell, Hooversville, Central City, Windber, Meyersdale, Rockwood, Confluence, Somerset, Hollsopple, and Berlin.
